Candle Care & Safety

To enjoy your Shea.Delight candle safely and at its best:

• Before each burn, gently remove loose charred wood and trim the wooden wick to approximately 3–5 mm.
• Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from draughts and flammable materials.
• Allow the wax to melt gradually towards the edges of the vessel, without exceeding the recommended maximum burn duration.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Keep burning candles at least 10 cm apart.
• Never move a burning candle or handle it while the wax is liquid.
• Stop burning when approximately 10 mm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
• Allow the candle and glass vessel to cool completely before handling or replacing the lid.
